Immunosuppressive medication is prescribed to prevent rejection of the transplanted graft.
This immunosuppressive medication affects immune cells within the circulation. We determine both absolute numbers as well as frequencies of various circulating immune cell subsets, like T, B, NK, monocytes, dendritic cells on a daily base in our laboratory. In addition, we also determine frequencies of cytotoxic T cells (CTLf) as well as frequencies of IFNγ-producing cells upon request.
